DISNEYtopia's New Groove with Rocket Raccoon Pt. 2 (plus more llamas)

Hey-o!   Welcome back to DISNEYtopia! I'm rocketraccoon24 and I can't wait to share cool DIY Disney projects (some found on Pintrest, and some homemade), Pin Talk, more Tink's Tips, updates on STAR WARS LAND (yay),  D23 hints and (maybe) spoilers, and funny-as-heck ride videos.       First things first, Disney parks have pin trading events IN THE PARK! I found an article on OH MY DISNEY about pin trading if you aren't sure what that is or if you have a pin or two but don't know what to do with it/them. Below is a link to the article. Pin Trading 101 l Oh  My  Disney   Next, I just have to tell you about some updates with the new, up 'n' coming STAR WARS LAND!  ‘Star Wars’ Land update: Disneyland’s Rivers of America route ... DISNEYtopia's New Groove with Rocket Raccoon (and lots of llamas)

Hello DISNEYtopia! friends,   I am so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so sorry! I recently checked my blog site and realized I hadn't made a post since OCTOBER 2015!!! It's now the "Summer of Heroes", Disneyland's 61st anniversary (which they don't celebrate, but still), and the second month of Disney's California Adventure's Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission BREAKOUT.       Moana, Elena of Avalor, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and the 2017 version of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens are out, Elena on Disney Channel, Guardians in theaters, and the others on DVD.       Mission: BREAKOUT was apparently a huge success for the parks. This ride is DE BOMB and has 6 different versions! I got the opportunity to get on 2 of them, and trust me when I tell you this: this ride can't be compared to Tower of Terror. Why? Because it would make Tower of Terror look bad!!! I am a f...

Back Down the Rabbit Hole

Hi again! Are you ready for a BONUS? Great! Today, I'll give you 5. Get ready, STAR WARS FANS!! BQ1: Who created Star Wars?  BQ2: Who was Jabba's slave? BQ3: Fill in the blank: " I __ Y____ _a______." BQ4: What's new? ___________________________ and __________________________. BQ5: Where was Luke born? Okay! Now, let's return to the rabbit hole.  We are now in the study of Disney history, starting with one of Walt Disney's most favorite treasures. It's a Small World! As you see,  It's a Small World is color coordinated.  It has been located in Disneyland for 60 years. It's a Small World was also at the 1964 World's Fair. They do not do Small World Holiday at Disney World's Magic Kingdom.  That's it for Small World today. Let's move on to... NEW!!! Moana Concept Art NEW!!! Elena De Avalor Concept Art (I'm not sure if I spelt it wrong or not the first time. I know her n...

Live Disney, Love Disney, Breathe Disney

Hi! Sorry I haven't posted lately. I've been very busy with my research. So today, let's skip the bonus question. As most of you know, tomorrow is the Aunnual Passholder Party at Disneyland! Last year, the A.P.P. was at California Adventure. Not this time! I am going early because I don't want to miss the excitement along with Celebrate! Celebrate is truly celebrating the work of Walt Disney. I hope to enjoy it along with my family. If you ever saw Celebrate, you have to see it again. And the food... The food is SO good! Everything from the heat of the hot dogs, to the taste of the delicious Chimmychungas. Chimmychungas are the SO good. I love them, and I get at least two each time I go. Now, I made myself hungry, so I will stop myself there and eat. :) Yum! All that eating reminds me of all those questions I gave you. Well, are you pirates and princesses ready? Zip-a-dee-doo-dah! A1. CINDERELLA'S CASTLE A2. MAY 22, 2015 A3. ELAINA BA4. JULY 19, 1...

Rabbit Holes and Teacups

Hi again! Ready for some more Disney facts? I am! But first, let me ask you some questions. Q: Whose castle is it?                                                                         Got your answer? Great! Be sure to write it down on a piece of paper and the answer will be on the next post of DISNEYtopia! Q: What date did Disneyland open for it's 60th anniversary?  (don't Mickey and Minnie look adorable?) Q: Who is she? You may not know who she is, but look out for special Sofia the First episodes. You'll find out soon enough. Perfect! Or purrfect as little Marie would say. Some people ask, "Do you know your Disney characters?" Well, I'm here to make sure you do! Just in case you don't, but you probably do. In today's edition of DISNEYtopia, there will be a bonus qu...
Hi!   My name is disneygal101, and I am your insider on (almost) everything Disney related! I have lots of facts and can't wait to share it with all of you!   On this blog, I will give you lots of fun information, but then put YOU to the test. These so-called tests are part of the 'D.Y.T.Y.K.Disney' quiz series made by disneygal101 herself (me!). There will soon be polls for you to take online, as well. Are you ready? Great!   This summer, I traveled to Disneyland's sister park, Walt Disney World. It is named after the great Walt Disney himself. If you've never been, let's just say it's way different than Disneyland. There are many shows at Hollywood Studios, so get ready to enter Florida's mini Disney version of Hollywood! Tower of Terror is different too, but let's not get that far into detail. I don' want to spoil it.   If you are used to entering Disneyland and having California Adventure and Downtown Disney right there, you might want...
